Shipwreck researcher - Dr. Lubos Kordac

Historic shipwreck researcher and author of the book Historic Shipwrecks of the Dominican Republic and Hait with "Pieces of Eight."
While working in Cuba, he located a Spanish galleon once sought by Jacques Cousteau himself. Lubos currently resides in the Dominican Republic where he explores the island as few treasure hunters have, searching for shipwrecks left behind in fabulous Hispaniola, the first foothold of the Spanish crown in the New World.
Aside from working with government institutions and Dominican museums, Lubos is a consulting partner with renowned salvage companies from the United States that work in the Dominican Republic.
Well educated, he holds a degree in economics with a major in foreign trade and tourism. He is fluent in Czech, Slovak, Spanish, English and German.
Lubos is a historical shipwreck researcher who has lived in the Dominican Republic more than 10 years and closely works with ONPCS, the Ministry of Culture of the DR and Museo de Atarazanas. He is author of the book Hidden and Lost Treasures in the Dominican Republic and Historic shipwrecks of the Dominican Republic and Haiti: Second Edition.
Dr. Kordac wrote also historical novel called Nazi Treasure in the Dominican Republic. This novel, written for the time being only in Spanish, is based on historical facts and deals with German U-boat, loaded with stolen treasures and Nazi prominents, that ended his dramatical journey in the Dominican republic in May, 1945.
Apart from his own books and researches, Dr. Lubos Kordac also translated from Spanish to English book about historical shipwrecks Galleons and Sunken Treasure written by famous Spanish historical researcher Claudio Bonifacio. The book was recently internationally published worldwide as well.
Also, he is a PADI dive master with more than 1,200 dives.
